Our work with the philanthropy community and with not-for-profit organizations has been non-sectarian. As a philanthropy advisor, the majority of Richard Marker's clients are not religiously identified. Mirele Goldsmith's environmental expertise has led to a number of clients in that realm. However, both of us have very extensive professional experience with the Jewish community. In our writings and in our personal involvements, as well as our professional ones, this connection is very important to us. We therefore do have particular knowledge and familiarity with many of the issues and institutions of the contemporary Jewish community in the United States and elsewhere.
